Vivotek FD8136 1MP Ultra Mini Fixed Dome IP66 Vandalproof Camera with 2.5mm Lens (Black) Review

Tried many different cameras before I got to this one. This camera I feel has the most bang for the buck when pricing out. I've tried the Foscam FI8909W cameras which doesn't give an accurate color picture and fuzzy objects when they move across the area. The Axis M1011-W which probably provides the best picture but the pricepoint doesn't make sense it unless you have the money to spend for it (not for outdoors). I've tried some lower end cameras such as the Apexis APM-J0233-POE Outdoor Wired/PoE which only gives about a 5 ft (if that) window and on top of that - only in greyscale even though it's described as color :/.And finally, the Trendnet Secureviews which has the cables that cant be hidden if you can't have a hole in your mounting point. This camera had the WIDE angle I needed along with a great color picture. The resolution was great too. The best part of it all, it fits in the palm of my hand! The smallest camera out of all the other's I've tried. It is an indoor camera though I have it mounted outdoors under an eve which does fine. I gave it only four stars because it's not night vision capable :( . The web interface is more advanced than the other products mentioned. I'd give it 3.75 if I could only because I don't feel it's as vandal proof as described. But overall, I'm very happy with this camera and the pros it has.
