We have 2 Bose systems, compared the sound, guess what; the Kicker wins hands down. Plus, you can adjust the treble and bass on the Kicker. The sound is great. If it just had a remote control, it would be perfection. Love it!

Podium Pro PP1002A 1 Pair of New Karaoke PA DJ Band Powered Active 10" Pro Audio 1000 Watts Speakers Review

I bought a pair of these, as an experiment, off of the OFD website Yard Sale section, and have been quite pleased with them. For DJing smaller venues and handling my smaller jobs, they have been more than adequate, and certainly more than I expected, at the price. As a DJ for 22 years, it is nice to be able to have a nice, small, inexpensive pair of speakers when I don't want to haul around the big guns.

In addition, the CS-1744 incorporates a two port USB hub that allows each of the computers to share any USB peripherals connected to the hub on a one computer at a time basis. Recognizing the importance of sound, the switches are also audio-enabled. A single microphone can provide audio input to each of the computers, and you can listen to the audio output of each computer on a single set of speakers (on a one-at-a-time basis). ATEN 4-Port Dual-View KVMP Switch with Audio Support and Cables CS1744 (Silver) Review

I bought this dual-monitor KVM for home about 6 months ago. I've used a number of different KVMs over the years, PS/2 and KVM, and both at home and work, but this was the first one with dual monitor support. It was pretty expensive but it was one of the few dual-monitor KVMs I could find.

It has a nice low profile and comes in a sturdy metal case with rubber edges (very similar design to an old IOGear I used to have). The cable plugs and KVM ports on the back are color coded so it's easy to know which cable goes where.

It came with 4 sets of 6 ft cables, and a PS/2 adapter if you have an old keyboard/mouse setup, so you shouldn't need to buy anything else to use it for up to 4 PCs. It includes a serial cable for firmware updates, although I haven't used that yet. It doesn't normally require an A/C power adapter, although it has an A/C port and the instructions include its requirements if you need or would like to buy one.

I'm pretty sure this is only for PCs that support USB for keyboard/mouse; although you can use an old PS/2 keyboard or mouse with the included adapter, I don't think there is any way to use it with PS/2 inputs on your PC. If your PC is PS/2 only, get a different KVM.

One of the two VGA cables for each PC incorporates the USB for keyboard/mouse inside it, the other has the audio cables, so you only have the two cables to route to each PC (makes for a nice, clean install). Note: the smaller cables for USB/audio are about 21" long coming off each one, so their inputs on each PC need to be that close to the VGAs. Shouldn't be a problem unless you have a large custom PC I've never seen before.

The dual VGA monitors, USB keyboard/mouse, and audio work as expected when switching from one PC to the next. I haven't tried the shared USB ports yet. You can switch PCs through the front panel buttons or a keyboard shortcut (ScrLk+ScrLk+[number]+Enter).

I haven't run into any problems and have been very happy with it so far.

SquareTrade 3-year Office Protection Plan ($2500-$3000) Review

I recently bought a AT&T telephone with a one year warranty. At that time I also purchased a Square Trade 2 year protection plan. If something goes wrong with the telephone during the first year it is covered by AT&T - not by Square Trade. Square Trade's warranty only applies during the second year - extending the warranty by ONE year - not two.
The Square Trade warranty, to me, is a ONE year warranty extension and should be described by Square Trade and Amazon.com as such.

Sennheiser e 906 Dynamic Cardioid Instrument Microphone Package - Audix Cab Grabber and Cable Review

the e 906 is a really lifelike microphone for the money.I find the band/field selection useful with a large number of recording techniques. As an added bonus, for the price of the mic,the audix cab grabber is included in the price as well as a 20 foot mic cable.the audix cab grabber is not quite as versatile as the manufacturer would have you to believe.I simply could not achieve the proper angle for the mic to face the speaker unless a 6 inch goose neck was added to it. (I have an early 90's fender blues deluxe with a 1-12" speaker)In my particular situation,I would not even be able to use an sm-57 or 58 style mic without the goose neck as well as the cab grabber does not reach far enough over to reach the center of the speaker. Also ,as near as I can tell,A 57 0r 58 will not work unless a mic clip is used.(the spring loaded type that allows you to choke up further on the mic)If a regular mic holder is used,it will push too far into the grill cloth.I suspect this will be the case with more than a few applications.
It is indeed a very good idea that has some basic flaws in it and I would like to see audix address these issues as to not confuse and/or piss off future customers.Best advice;try the cab grabber on your cabinet first before you buy.
all in all I got a great microphone a decent mic holder.(after modifying it)and a free mic cable for just the cost of the mic.The vendor even picked up the shipping!!
