I purchased this tv stand a couple of weeks ago. At the time of this review, I still have not installed the glass shelves. Yes, all shelving inside is glass, somehow missed that part in the description. This tv stand is constructed of wood, with the exception of the backing. The stain is not consistent in all places, some parts are very dark and some parts are very light, although this is not very noticeable once assembled. My biggest issue are the assembly instructions that come with this. There are 3 illustrations, no descriptions, no dos and don'ts, etc. The process was very frustrating. I only recommend this product if you have plenty of experience and are very comfortable with assembling furniture.
