This is a beautiful item, however there are a couple minor things that aren't in the description that would be helpful to know when purchasing. The inside of the TV stand is divided in half. Each side is about 18.5" square. There is only one option for where the shelf will go & that is directly in the middle. Each shelf is about 18.5" x 9.25". The shelves are very spacious but it would be nice is there were more holes for the shelf placement options. The backing has 2 round holes for cables and each hole is located conveniently in the middle of each shelf.

Assembly is very simple but it suggests 2 people to put it together. It is possible to put it together yourself but is more difficult this way. You start at the base, put the middle support in, then the sides and the top front support, then the top, then the doors & backing. The doors come already hinged, you just have to hang them in the pre-drilled holes on the stand itself.

My biggest cons for this item were that the doors do not hang evenly. One of the doors is too far over & doesn't shut nicely. The other con was that this item chipped during assembly so be very careful with it.
