I don't know much about microscopes. Sometimes kids want to look at something, but cheap scope we have was not doing it. Camera type scope, cheap, was also disappointing.
This scope, I think, is just right. The digital view program was easy download and it's automatic afterwards. Focus, I think, is excellent. The scope looks, feels well made and there is no loose part. Obviously I need to learn more about it before using higher magnifications, because at 10x200 power, I could not focus on anything. I was looking at a piece of paper for test.
I found out that youtube has many instructions.
I can't give it 5 stars. Packaging was so-so, and manual could not be downloaded automatically from the website. There is a note about it, and request through the email was replied quickly with a attached manual.
