Have hunted now with these several times and compared with both my other Nikons and my Steiner 8 x 42's and all I can say is there is absolutely no need for 90% of hunters to buy better.

If you hunt in the hills where you need to use a spotting scope then perhaps Swarovski's are the go ... but otherwise unless you have the budget to throw around these will do the job and are magnificent.

In fact, I could see the pigs I was hunting at such a late time of dusk that it was wasted because it was too dark for me to see any of my pins and for my range finder to be able to work and even if it did I wouldn't have been able to read the readout because it was getting so dark. It was a new moon so very very dark dusk. As a result I missed my shot.

The Bino's allowed me to see easily in that light without any doubt. The clarity of the image was magnificent.

I actually purchased these because on my last dusk hunt, my hunting mate had his Nikon Monarchs (earlier model) and I had my Steiners and I could see far more with his Nikon's than my Steiners. Decision made!!

Very pleased with the spend and given the above I only wonder if I've bought too good a pair as what's the point of seeing so well when I can't fire my bow!! Not really a complaint. Very happy and recommended purchase!
