Part of the new Reference 10 family, the Klipsch RC-10 center channel adds a new value point to Klipsch's best-selling Reference Series line by offering the same advanced technology and world-class materials as the Reference III center channels but from a smaller enclosure and at a lower price point. The RC-10 employs dual 4-inch woofers and a 1-inch titanium-dome compression driver loaded with a 4-inch square Tractrix Horn for maximum clarity and efficiency. This center channel also utilizes Klipsch's Tapered-Array Technology, a 2.5-way design that minimizes the acoustical interference between drivers that plagues most horizontal center-channel speakers. This technology allows both woofers to create intense bass, while only one works with the tweeter to produce the midrange. The result is a smooth, clear sound not just directly in front of the speaker, but off to the sides as well, where conventional center speakers often exaggerate or mask sounds. The woofers on the RC-10 still feature Klipsch's distinctive, copper-colored Cerametallic material. Made with an anodized aluminum, these cones are strong and dent resistant. The anodizing process converts their inner and outer surfaces to ceramic. The outcome is a rigid cone with superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer's operating range.

I have a very substantial home theatre system, but have limited space available for the center channel speaker (only 6''high,17' wide). I was able to audition a Boston Accoustics center,a Definitive Technology pro1000, a Klipsch Icon xl-12 and the Klipsch RC-10 IN MY OWN LIVING ROOM! The Boston couldn't handle the power,the Def Tech was good but didn't have the high frequency detail,the Xl-12 was clean but lacked warmth and bass. The Klipsch RC-10 had it all;power handling,good bass and warmth and high frequency detail.It sounded the best of the four and was the most efficient. It's rare to be able to compare that many speakers at once,let alone in your own house, so I thought it would be helpfull to share. Bottom line-if you're limited on space for your center channel speaker, this is the one to buy. Oh yeah,it didn't hurt that I got it from J&R Music for $149.99 no tax, free shipping!

PROAIM 2ft Camera linear slider Dolly with Carry Case (Ball head not included) Review

Actually it's a good slider for the price. But the screwed-in ends are a hassle to set up, if your activity requires frequent set-up and take down. You can easily lose the screws and washers if you are rushing to set up. I also found out that the nylon bushing inside the sliding head can easily pop out without you noticing it. It's the most critical part because without it the whole camera platform will not slide smoothly. It is a good idea for the manufacturer to include spares in the original purchase. It would also be a better product if the platform includes a quick release plate so that the camera (without the ball head)can be disengaged easily from the slider. The carrying case is well-made.

I purchased the Timeline 100 because we were still using manual time cards and I was looking for an automated system. I saw very good reviews on Fingertec's other products and our company only needed a card reader with software to calculate hours. This system works great for us and is saves me so much time of doing payroll; the software is pretty much straight forward with a GREAT support team--they gave me a quick training and answered my questions quickly-- they even logged onto my PC and showed me how to do the settings.

I highly recommend this product and we will buy another one for our second location... thanks to Fingetec

Freedom Alert with 2 Wireless Long Range Pendants Review

My likes about this product are: the speak and listen feature, the ability to call up to 4 friends/neighbors first and if can't be reached, it'll call 911, the button to check if battery ok, the same button to check if you're in range of signal. I'm outdoors a lot and have checked my half acre yard and had a signal. If I'm clearing out the brook, I can tell them where I am specifically due to speak/listen feature. They don't have to guess where I am. I can even walk to my neighbors and get a signal. As a comparison, I had the usual push -the -button and the ambulance/police/fireman come. It didn't have any of the features the Freedom Alert does. I didn't have the option to even tell them that I accidentally pressed the button and that I was ok. My dislike is that it didn't have an adjustable lanyard. I've had to tuck it in my shirt while digging in the garden so sweat and dirt wouldn't get into it also. When my system arrived, I did have low battery issues but customer service was great and send new ones immediately.
