Actually it's a good slider for the price. But the screwed-in ends are a hassle to set up, if your activity requires frequent set-up and take down. You can easily lose the screws and washers if you are rushing to set up. I also found out that the nylon bushing inside the sliding head can easily pop out without you noticing it. It's the most critical part because without it the whole camera platform will not slide smoothly. It is a good idea for the manufacturer to include spares in the original purchase. It would also be a better product if the platform includes a quick release plate so that the camera (without the ball head)can be disengaged easily from the slider. The carrying case is well-made.
