Based on the design of its bigger brothers, the Hadley Digital is manufactured to carry a DSLR with a standard lens attached. Depending on the size of your camera, it can be loaded with the grip facing up at you under the flap or with the lens pointing down into the bag. It has a non-removeable insert and features an adjustable single Quick Release strap into a brass buckle, bellowed front pocket with press-stud fastening and a double darted main flap which covers the mouth of the bag when closed protecting it from rain and weather elements.The fully adjustable shoulder sling is sewn under a leather side pathc, which provides the facility to attach AVEA side pockets. The AVEA03 is the nicest looking fit as they are slimer and match the side profile of the Hadley Digital. However, the AVEA05's will also fit if you need extra room and are less concerned with aesthetics.

I bought this bag to carry my Pen EP-3 kit but immediately gave to my wife. Why? It looks exactly like a woman's purse: petite, attractive in a conservative and understated way and would be right at home in the window of Coach or other high end purse shop. The same leather accents and fabric look manly in messenger bag size but pretty much scream woman's purse in this rendition. The dividers were great for the EP-3 kit but, if you want to carry a DSLR, out they come. Her Canon 60D and 17-85 USM fill it up completely when toploaded with lens pointing down, but isn't so tight as to make it difficult to extract (she uses a CamAdapter with hand strap). My 7D/15-85 USM will squeeze in but is too tight for comfort. So ideal for a woman toting a smaller DSLR like a Rebel or D60 and medium or small zoom. The ample front pocket has plenty of room for lipstick, a few SDHC cards and her iPhone. There is no room for any additional lenses or shoe flash. And, yes, she loved it and immediately tossed her funky Lowenpro in the closet.

The inside is extremely soft and well padded and there are no exposed velcro or rough material to scratch your gear. I gave it 4 stars because it's overpriced but the quality and stylish design make it almost worth it. Not a bag for hiking or beach but just the ticket for a night on the town.
