My likes about this product are: the speak and listen feature, the ability to call up to 4 friends/neighbors first and if can't be reached, it'll call 911, the button to check if battery ok, the same button to check if you're in range of signal. I'm outdoors a lot and have checked my half acre yard and had a signal. If I'm clearing out the brook, I can tell them where I am specifically due to speak/listen feature. They don't have to guess where I am. I can even walk to my neighbors and get a signal. As a comparison, I had the usual push -the -button and the ambulance/police/fireman come. It didn't have any of the features the Freedom Alert does. I didn't have the option to even tell them that I accidentally pressed the button and that I was ok. My dislike is that it didn't have an adjustable lanyard. I've had to tuck it in my shirt while digging in the garden so sweat and dirt wouldn't get into it also. When my system arrived, I did have low battery issues but customer service was great and send new ones immediately.
