Samsung Vibrant T959V 4G Unlocked Cellphone Galaxy S Review

I got one of these on ebay to upgrade from my Samsung Exhibit II, it's on T-Mobile not unlocked. The Exhibit II only gets 4G and since there's not much 4G coverage from T-Mobile and it won't work on 3G at all there was no service anywhere except on Edge. This phone is supposed to get 4G but fall back to 3G when 4G service is not available and seems to be working OK so far. The GPS works well in spite of what other reviewers are saying. I found that if I turned on "wi-fi calling" that nothing else worked including the GPS. Turned that off and everything was fine. The 5Mp camera produces good photos that look better than the ones from my digital camera.
Videos play well whether in MP4 or 3GP format and music sounds very good using headphones.
I only have 2 gripes with it so far, the battery life is way too short and both phones, the Galaxy S and the Exhibit II have to be charged up every day or they will go dead the next day even if they weren't used. Also, when using the phone continuously for something like listening to music or the radio the battery runs down in just a couple of hrs. I was used to my old Blackberry being able to last all week on a charge so this was a disappointment. I purchased a new battery with double the capacity that I'm hoping will extend the life.
The other problem is that it sometimes can't seem to find service and gets confused showing some bars on the screen but not 3G or 4G and doesn't have either GSM or WCDMA selected. 4G will usually kick in if I turn it off and back on or just wait a few minutes thought.
BTW, the description for this phone on Amazon is wrong. The Samsung T959V is a Galaxy S not a Vibrant. The Vibrant is the T959 with a green desktop while the one for the T959V Galaxy S is blue.
