This is an excellent tripod for your camera and photography needs. It comes with a very nice carrying case and you simply will not believe how small the stand will fold up into and it is a full size and rugged stand! The very nice carry bag is only 16.5 inches long. The folded tripod is only 15.5 inches long and extremely light weight weighing only 3.6 pounds without the carrying bag. The bag also has a zippered pouch inside of it that has a brief instruction manual and a set of pointed feet to be used to modify the tripod for use outside on the ground where you would want the points sticking into the ground for more stability. The tripod can hold 17.6 pounds of weight.

The tripod legs actually fold back upon themselves to allow you to fold it up into such a small package. My video shows how to open up the stand and how to do the basic adjustments. Make sure that whenever you are opening up the legs that you always securely lock them into place for the safety of your camera. When you make the first leg setting position the stand is only 29 inches tall. When the legs are fully extended the stand is 62 inches tall from the floor to the top of the tripod mounting plate.

The top of the stand features a quick release mounting plate that allows you to quickly change between your cameras in seconds. The kit comes with two extra quick release mounting plates so you can set up three different cameras for use on this stand. The mounting plates have rubber pads on them to match the rubber padded surface of the bottom of your camera to provide a non-slip surface for a tight and secure mounting. There are even Allen wrenches, in the kit, to help you tighten the mounting plates onto your camera.

The tripod head has a precision 360 degree spinning head with a grid graduated in degrees to allow you to shoot perfect panoramic scenes. You can lock the head into place. There is also an adjustable tilt ball with a locking knob and you can also loosen that and adjust a fixed drag pressure setting to allow you to adjust the angle of the head without a lot of slippage. That tilting adjustment can also be made to move sideways a full 90 degrees. On the top of the stand is a precision bubble mount that you can use to set the tripod level using the bubble as a level measurement.

The tripod head is mounted onto a rod that is also adjustable to allow you to move it up or down easily. On the bottom of the stand rod is a hanging weight hook so you can hang a camera bag or a bag of sand to stabilize the tripod when you are outside in windy conditions. Each leg has two angle locking positions and you can adjust them and lock them individually to use the tripod on hilly terrain photo shoots. By locking the legs in different angles you can set the tripod into a more stable stance and tilt the head to still allow you to shoot the photos at the angle you desire to use.

The tripod is beautifully made and it is anodized in two different colors that just really make it stand out. The craftsmanship on the product is perfect. The tripod can also be quickly disassembled and turned into an adjustable monopod. I show how to do this in my video. I use this tripod with my Canon 7D camera.

This is an excellent stand. It is highly functional with a lot of features. It is made of high quality materials and the two tone color scheme is very nicely done. I love this tripod as it is very lightweight and yet stable and strong. I rated it as a 5 star item.
