I've had the smaller 20-inch version of this (now called the FBO 50) for a couple years, and recently got the 26-inch version (the FBO 65, if it still says FBO 50 in the item description I believe that's an error) as a Christmas gift. The 20-inch is awesome, very solidly constructed, not many corners cut at all, gives a nice, fairly soft (although not so soft that you'll want to use this without fill often) light with a distinctive catchlight with a little donut hole where the hotspot-blocking patch is on the diffuser.

The 26-inch unit is very similar to the 20-inch with one major difference: the diffuser that comes with the 26-inch has no hotspot-blocking patch, it's just a piece of diffusion cloth. This concerned me at first, but after directly photographing the modifier, it clearly does not have a noticeable hotspot in the center (using the plastic wide-angle diffuser that comes with the flash), the light is very even across the entire 26-inch span. Also, the diffuser just attaches with elastic to the front of the modifier, instead of having little holes that the umbrella-style ribs poke through to hold it on the 20-inch.

So, just starting to use the 26-inch, I feel good about it so far, same quality construction, looks like it should give a touch softer shadows than the 20-inch.
