Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. Audio response is not as smooth as other mic.'s I've used, but this outperforms more expensive ones in some notable areas. For the money: 5 stars. For audio performance: 4 stars. Wireless transmition / Reception & Battery Life: 5 stars. I will buy this mic. again in the future.

Audio seems excessively hyped around +/- 6.5kHz on the high end & usually needs some work in the 600-800Hz & gets some popping in the low frequencies. If you mix on a digital mixer with more than (2) sweepable mid-frequency EQ's you should be able to dial this Mic. in nicely. Like I said it reveals enough detail that it sounds very much like it is a Condenser rather than a dynamic mic. (a good thing).

This wireless system is significantly quieter (system noise wise) than the popular Shure PGX SM58 system. I've used this for Author Bob Sorge (has a damaged & very weak voice) and this mic. was able to be boosted plenty without adding noticeable background noise. The previous year the Shure resulted in added background noise for the same author / speaker. The mic. has (4) audio level settings in the Mic. = excellent vs. Shure's (2)

Also it is great for MC / multipurpose use since it can also pick up items that are further away from it reasonably well. Handling noise is probably a bit higher than many others.

I always use rechargeable batteries. These have lasted very well even on the units High output setting. (appr. 6 hrs use brought it down to 4/5 bars on the battery level. (Good enough for me.)

Auto Scan & Auto Sync features are great features of it as well!
